We want to empower you as a consumer to make better choices for your daily cleaning needs by providing you with products that are not harmful to your family or the environment.

Did you know that when “fragrance” is listed as an ingredient, it can indicate the presence of up to 4,000 synthetic ingredients? While “fragrances” may contain some natural ingredients, they are also made with potentially toxic substances like alcohol, petrochemicals, coal, and coal tars. Unfortunately, thousands of people are allergic or sensitive to the synthetic components of fragrances commonly used in cosmetics, food, or cleaning products. Furthermore, many of the compounds in fragrance, such as styrene, are suspected or even proven to cause cancer.
While fragrances are commonly used to make your body, clothes, or home smell nice, there are many risks associated with coming into daily contact with these toxic substances. Some of the symptoms reported include headaches, dizziness, rashes, skin discolorations, violent coughing and vomiting and allergic skin irritation. Observations by doctors have shown that exposure to fragrance can affect the central nervous system, causing depression, hyperactivity, irritability, inability to cope, and other behavioural changes.
So, what can you do to avoid exposure to harmful chemicals?

One way to avoid exposure to these dangerous synthetics is to avoid using products that list “fragrance” as an ingredient but fail to mention the components or origin of that fragrance.
If you must use a fragrance, avoid products that list “fragrance oil of perfume”. Instead, look for those products that are unscented or use only 100% pure essential
As well, due to health concerns arising from exposure to fragrances, some workplaces have even implemented policies to enforce a fragrance-free work environment. These policies consider those with environmental sensitivities by forbidding anyone to enter a building while wearing scented personal care products or having used conventional cleaning supplies.
One more way to avoid toxic substances is by making more informed purchasing decisions. At Live for Tomorrow, we share every single ingredient we use. You can rest easy knowing our formulations use only Plant & Mineral Based ingredients. When you read our labels, you will not find any harmful chemicals, synthetic dyes, or fragrances.
